To start things off, this is mostly a friends-only journal.
A few things about myself: I love and understand Bert from Sesame Street. I act more like Lucy from the Peanuts comic strip than I care to admit. And Hermione Granger is a literary character that I can clearly identify with.
I read books, watch movies and listen to music. I don't watch TV, so you won't find much discussion about that here.
College and I have parted ways, leaving me with two degrees. I would love to return, but those are some big steps. I'm holding off for now.
In terms of what I read, well, it's just about anything. I don't care for romance and chicklit. In terms of popularity, I can go either way. I don't like Dan Brown, but I read J.K. Rowling and Terry Pratchett. Music and movies are roughly the same thing. I'm eclectic in my tastes, but have the random genre that I don't particularly care for.
I am random and quirky. I am liberal and an atheist. Um...I am woman; hear me roar.
